About a year ago I went to record in Kerala with the band Temple Rock. Led by Krishna Kumar on vocals and kanjira, the band plays an exciting and dynamic blend of traditional Carnatic songs, Jazz and Rock. The band also features some of India's best musicians such as Mishko M'Ba on bass, Aman Mahajan on piano, Jay Sithar on guitar and Souri Rajan on percussion.
